12mm tape feeder modification
Standard 12mm tape feeders can be loaded into the machine every other slot (applies to the feeders KFTA-2 in the machines with 13.33mm and 15mm gap between slots), hence normally these feeders taking 2 slots.
Our modification enable higher density loading of these feeders, for each 2 feeders one slot is saved!
Modification of feeder step
We offer a service that involves converting Manncorp / Autotronik feeders: KFTA-08A, KFTA-08A5, KFTA-08B2.
This conversion reduces the minimum step from 4 mm to 2 mm, allowing the use of tapes with 0201-size components in older type feeders.
The ability to use tapes with a step of 4 mm is preserved.
